Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager I/II to join our team at Wacker Chemical Corporation. As a key member of our Constructions, Sealants & Adhesives Team, you will be responsible for managing and growing revenue and profitability for assigned groups of accounts and/or geography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at all levels and document account interactions.
  • Understand significant changes in customer demands and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Grow and manage sales opportunities on a timely basis using our CRM system.
  • Establish, maintain, and document market knowledge to support the introduction of new products to relevant markets and to new customers.
  • Maintain and execute customer development plans for key customers.
Requirements
  • BS Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences, Civil Engineering), Masters preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a chemical industry, preferably with experience in silicones.
  • Experience working in a team environment in a B2B enterprise is required.
  • Strong networking skills with co-workers, prospects, and customers.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Solid knowledge of CRM (Salesforce preferred) and ERP (SAP preferred) systems.
  • Proven ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision.
  • High degree of professionalism and business ethics.
