Position Overview

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a qualified Commercial Sales Representative who specializes in new construction within the commercial sector. This role is crucial for driving sales in overhead doors, specialty products, and dock-related solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with industrial and institutional clients to build and maintain enduring relationships with general contractors.
  • Conduct meetings with key decision-makers to promote our extensive range of door products and services.
  • Develop detailed proposals and manage all aspects of the sales process from initial contact to finalizing the sale; proficiency in Windows-based applications and sales tools is essential.
  • Achieve or surpass established sales and profit targets.
  • Provide precise and timely estimates and proposals.
  • Regularly update and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three (3) years of outside sales experience targeting general contractors and industrial markets is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with mechanical systems are essential.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and prior experience in estimating proposals is advantageous, though not mandatory if willing to learn.
