Job Title: Consumer Engagement Manager

The Consumer Engagement Manager is a key role within Monster Energy's marketing team, responsible for executing the company's brand portfolio sampling and local marketing initiatives within a defined market. This position reports to the Regional Field Manager and is accountable for growing brand awareness and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Monster Energy's brand managers, local sales team, and Field Marketing Managers to customize and execute events/programs aligned with the brands' sampling platforms.
  • Provide consistent direction, coaching, and communication to maintain brand accuracy in the Monster brand experiences and sampling.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage part-time ambassadors.
  • Research, secure, and manage the execution of local events and partnerships.
  • Plan and manage all aspects of the event planning process, including personnel, product delivery/distribution, transportation, supplies, contracts, insurance, and permits.
  • Increase market knowledge and identify various groups and organizations with the targeted demographic in which to partner.
  • Diligently prepare ambassadors for superior customer interactions and flawless event executions.
  • Lead direction of and oversee brand accuracy in event and partnership execution.
  • Actively participate in all regional events with ambassadors.
  • Execute strategic directions and manage the goals for the assigned region/market.
  • Adhere to deadlines for administrative tasks, including reporting and recapping data for the region.
  • Assist in the planning and drive the execution of marketing events and programs.
  • Respond in a timely manner to the Director and Regional Field Manager.
  • Manage payroll and timesheets.
  • Maintain company assets, including storage facilities, inventory, vehicles, and equipment.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in event marketing, grassroots marketing, special events, promotions, and team management.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record, as the role may require driving a company-provided vehicle.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Ability to match the field team to best represent the market.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent oral communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and adaptable to changing environments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, as well as internet usage.
  • Ability to learn and use new technology associated with the job.
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ of the year within the assigned region and work on weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
