LinQuest Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to become a vital member of the Warfighter Analysis and Assessments team, providing essential support to US Space Command (USSPACECOM) within the J81 Advanced Warfare Capability and Resource Analysis Division.

Mandatory Requirement: An active TS//SCI clearance is required.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in analyzing the Command's requirements, capabilities, and resource applications. Your efforts will facilitate data-driven decision-making processes for USSPACECOM by enhancing analytical activities pertinent to the space domain. You will leverage your expertise in Joint/Space Warfighting Concepts, campaign analysis, and the development of analytical tools to aid in strategic and operational decision-making for USSPACECOM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct space-related capability assessments to inform operational and risk management decisions.
  • Perform in-depth analyses of emerging technologies and propose recommendations for swift demonstrations, technology integration, and transition.
  • Develop analytical methodologies for strategic evaluations of USSPACECOM Science & Technology capabilities, focusing on experimentation and prototyping.
  • Facilitate demonstrations as part of broader initiatives, including Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTDs) and Technical Assessment Teams (TAPs).
  • Establish criteria for assessments of experiments and demonstrations based on USSC warfighting domains, ensuring alignment with risk reduction objectives.
  • Prepare detailed experimentation assessment reports to support feedback mechanisms, evaluate capability gaps, and inform future exploration and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required; a focus on technical or operations research is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in space operations, with expertise in one of the following areas:
    • Joint Fires - High Energy lasers, Hypersonic weapons, Orbital Warfare
    • Joint Information Advantage - Electronic Warfare, Positioning, Navigation & Timing (PNT)
    • Joint C2 - JADC2, ABMS, or C2BMC
  • Prior experience on a Combatant Command, MAJCOM, or Joint Staff is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Joint Warfighting Concepts and mission-level concept development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and interpret data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective collaboration skills to identify and resolve diverse challenges.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in conveying technical information to varied audiences.
  • Ability to analyze operational, technical, and programmatic inputs and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in briefing and engaging with senior military and civilian leaders.
  • Familiarity with military operations or prior military experience involving modeling and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in engineering, operations research, modeling, simulation, or a related field.
  • Understanding of Department of Defense technology readiness levels (TRL).
Compensation:

Starting salary ranges from $135,000 to $165,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
