LinQuest Corporation is seeking a highly qualified and driven individual to become a part of the Warfighter Analysis and Assessments team, providing critical support to US Space Command (USSPACECOM) within the J81 Advanced Warfare Capability and Resource Analysis Division.
Mandatory Requirement: An active TS//SCI clearance is essential.
In this position, you will assist in evaluating the Command's requirements, capabilities, and resource applications. Your role will facilitate data-driven decision-making processes for USSPACECOM by enhancing analytical activities related to the space domain. You will leverage your expertise in Joint/Space Warfighting Concepts, campaign analysis, and the development of analytical tools to bolster USSPACECOM's strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct capability analysis related to space to inform operational and risk-related decisions.
- Perform in-depth assessments of emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations for rapid demonstrations, technology deployment, and integration.
- Develop analytical methodologies for the strategic evaluation of USSPACECOM's Science & Technology capabilities, focusing on experimentation and prototyping.
- Coordinate demonstrations as part of larger initiatives, including Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTDs) and other related projects.
- Establish criteria for experimentation and demonstrations aligned with USSC warfighting domains to ensure effective risk reduction.
- Produce assessment reports from experimentation to facilitate feedback, evaluate gaps, and inform future exploration, thereby integrating across the USSPACECOM S&T portfolio.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required; a focus on technical or operations research is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in space operations, including areas such as:
- Joint Fires - High Energy lasers, Hypersonic weapons, Orbital Warfare.
- Joint Information Advantage - Electronic Warfare, Positioning, Navigation & Timing (PNT).
- Joint C2 - JADC2, ABMS, or C2BMC.
- Previous experience on a Combatant Command, MAJCOM, or Joint Staff is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Joint Warfighting Concepts and mission-level concept development.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills for data integration and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to collaborate effectively to identify and resolve diverse challenges.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in conveying technical information to varied audiences.
- Capability to analyze operational, technical, programmatic, and acquisition inputs and provide recommendations for senior leadership.
- Experience interacting with senior military and civilian officials.
- Understanding of military operations or relevant military experience in modeling and analysis.
- A master's degree in engineering, operations research, modeling, simulation, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense technology readiness levels (TRL).
The starting salary ranges from $135,000 to $165,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
