About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst to support web and desktop applications for a large enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in System Analysis and be able to provide administrative services for websites, applications, and database servers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative services for websites, applications, and database servers
  • Manage both Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Test for vulnerability and security risks
  • Maintain separate computing environments for production, testing, and development
  • Analyze results from security monitoring tools
  • Tune and maintain system hardware
  • Patch and troubleshoot system software
  • Maintain database software
  • Monitor software interfaces and data exchanges
  • Manage performance of the overall system
  • Manage and troubleshoot faults, issues, and problems
  • Assign individual and group access to applications, domains, and systems
  • Manage user registration and profiles
  • Analyze data outputs to identify supply issues
  • Provide functional support for IT activities
  • Manage data, systems, users, and software implementation
  • Perform database query operations
  • Operate complex database programs
  • Evaluate data and its sources
  • Optimize data quality and automation
  • Consult with customers and system users at all levels
  • Perform change management in accordance with established policies, processes, and procedures
  • Develop and maintain Continuity of Operations (COOP) information and materials
  • Develop, execute, and audit backup procedures
  • Restore data as necessary from backups
  • Apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configurations to operating systems, database platforms, applications servers, and custom developed software
Requirements:
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Server operating systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Active Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Familiarity with the U.S. Air Force Standard Desktop Configuration for Windows
  • Experience working with the U.S. Air Force as a civilian, contractor, or service member
  • Release Management experience
  • Windows Server
  • Security Template Implementation Guide (STIG) experience
  • Internet Information Services (IIS) administration experience
Work Schedule:

Full-time position, average 40 hours per week. Flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
