Position Overview:
The Senior Patient Services Coordinator acts as a key resource for front office operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the patient flow process within the healthcare facility. Duties include managing patient check-ins and appointment scheduling as required.

Additionally, this position leads a team of Patient Service Representatives, serving as a mentor and model for adherence to compliance, protocols, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform receptionist tasks with meticulous attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Verify health insurance payment details and provide education to patients regarding relevant regulations.
  • Collect payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Handle charge entry, which encompasses assigning diagnostic codes and entering all physician-related and clinic charges.
  • Coordinate with the Central Billing Office to ensure all charges are accurately captured and collected.
  • Monitor the accuracy and completeness of team members' work, overseeing work queues and registration activities.
  • Assist with team scheduling and the training of new staff members.

Work Schedule:
8-hour shifts

Application Requirements:
Shifts may rotate monthly between 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Candidates should confirm their availability for these hours.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in customer service (preferred)

Minimum of 1 year in computer skills (preferred)

Work Environment:
In-person interaction is required.
