Job Summary

The Customer Service and Sales Advisor plays a critical role in providing exceptional customer experiences at EPB. This position is responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting EPB services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and requests
  • Strive for first-time resolution of customer issues
  • Complete ongoing training to stay up-to-date on products, services, and policy changes
  • Strike a positive and cooperative tone with customers and coworkers
  • Demonstrate best judgment in adjusting complaints concerning billing or service rendered
  • Provide customers with information on new products, rate plans, and services through up-selling opportunities
Requirements
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required
  • Two plus years of related customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
  • Basic knowledge of office tools provided on each PC (Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint)
  • Working knowledge and experience in Intranet software and Microsoft
  • Successfully pass sales and call center pre-employment assessments
