Position Title: School-Based Communication Specialist

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Employment Type: Contract, Educational Setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments to diagnose speech and language challenges
  • Create and execute tailored educational plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services aligned with IEP objectives
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and school personnel to foster student development
  • Ensure precise and timely record-keeping of services provided

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred
  • Experience in an educational environment is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

State Licensing Requirements:

  • Must possess or be eligible for Arizona state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Compliance with all Arizona regulations for school-based speech-language professionals
