Job Overview

The Department of Criminology, Law, and Society at the University of California, Irvine is seeking a Faculty Lecturer to teach courses in the area of Criminology, Law, and Society. Responsibilities

The Faculty Lecturer will be responsible for teaching courses in Criminology, Law, and Society, including courses on topics such as crime and justice, law and society, and criminology. The lecturer will also be responsible for developing and implementing course materials, assessing student learning, and contributing to the department's academic programs.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a master's-level degree in a relevant field, such as anthropology, law and society, criminology, political science, or sociology. The candidate will also have teaching experience at the college level and a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students. The lecturer will be expected to work collaboratively with department faculty and staff to develop and implement academic programs.
