Automotive Service Technician Position

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of assigned vehicles
  • Execute repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications
  • Perform authorized maintenance and repair tasks as requested by customers, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery tests/replacements, and servicing of various systems
  • Collect necessary information prior to requesting parts and provide precise repair estimates
  • Maintain effective communication with Service Advisors to keep customers updated on additional services and repair timelines
  • Carry out road tests to verify the successful completion of repairs

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain personal tools in excellent condition and uphold a professional appearance
  • Adhere to dealership standards by ensuring a clean workspace and vehicle presentation
  • Address claims promptly and effectively
  • Draft repair processes as required for warranty purposes
  • Manage parts returns for warranty considerations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably a two-year college degree in automotive technology or vehicle maintenance
  • Strong background in the automotive sector
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks
