Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Document Management Specialist to join our team at Homesteaders Life Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and processing policy changes, ensuring accuracy and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process policy changes, including new business, verifications, and document preparation
  • Assign policy numbers, enter data into our system, and balance reports
  • Process bank changes, multiple billing requests, and address changes
  • Update system records to reflect policy changes and reconcile money received
  • Set up reinstatements, pay-ups, and plan changes
  • Process welfare requests and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Equivalent to high school degree
  • Three or more years' experience in general office support duties, with insurance company experience preferred
  • Strong keyboard and data entry skills with high accuracy
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Completion of LOMA courses in Principles and Operations within two years of employment
