About the Role

We are seeking a talented Risk Management Professional to join our Compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and evaluating changes in risk exposure. You will also develop MIS reports for Senior Management and regulatory reporting, lead initiatives to leverage technology to gain efficiencies in our compliance program, and conduct AML investigations and prepare SARs for filing. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in Financial Crimes or investigative roles, with experience in Oracle (PL/SQL) or Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) and analytics tools such as R, Python, or Alteryx. Estimated salary: $125,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on location.

Your Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer, product, and transaction data to identify trends and evaluate changes in risk exposure;
  • Develop MIS reports for Senior Management and regulatory reporting;
  • Lead initiatives to leverage technology to gain efficiencies in our compliance program;
  • Conduct AML investigations and prepare SARs for filing;
  • Investigate Surveillance issues according to firm guidelines;
  • Support risk assessments and regular testing to assess the effectiveness of our policies and associated controls;
  • Collaborate with other corporate functions to develop leading compliance-related technologies, controls, and processes;
  • Develop knowledge of new analytical techniques and data sources that provide ongoing risk mitigation;
  • Support the development of AML monitoring scenarios and model validation.
