Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our team at Echelon Risk + Cyber. As a key member of our cybersecurity consulting firm, you will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for our clients and the organization itself.


About the Job

  • Implement and enforce industry-standard security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Design and deploy secure cloud solutions, including Azure and AWS architectures.
  • Leverage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) technologies to enhance security posture.
  • Ensure the security of Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, including email, file sharing, and third-party applications.
  • Configure and manage security controls for servers and endpoints, including deploying endpoint protection solutions.
  • Implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) security policies.
  • Perform regular vulnerability scans and automated penetration tests using in-house tools and develop remediation plans.
  • Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Ensure proper user provisioning and access controls.
  • Lead technical implementations of data protection services, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
  • Participate in disaster recovery plan development and maintenance.
  • Review and ensure backups, redundancy, and replication solutions meet availability and recovery best practices.
  • Conduct security reviews, assessments, and hardening activities across key systems.
  • Apply and enforce security configuration benchmarks, such as CIS and NIST.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Implement and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
  • Deploy and maintain Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
  • Configure network security policies across perimeter and internal network equipment.
  • Participate in incident response planning and tabletop exercises.
  • Assist with security awareness training program implementation and configuration.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.

Your Background and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications: CCSP, CISSP, CEH, CISM, etc.
  • Experience working in managed IT or Security services, handling multiple clients and environments simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
