Pizza Operations Manager

Are you passionate about food and leadership? At Jet's Pizza, we are looking for a dedicated individual to oversee our culinary operations. This role offers a dynamic environment where you can showcase your management skills while ensuring exceptional service and food quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage effectively with customers and team members to foster a positive atmosphere.
  • Train and mentor new staff on various food preparation stations.
  • Complete all opening and closing tasks, including dough preparation, cash handling, and daily reporting.
  • Manage labor efficiently by aligning staffing levels with sales volume.
  • Prepare and cook food in accordance with Jet's Pizza's standards and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace throughout the shift.
  • Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping, and ensure equipment is well-maintained.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts.
  • Capable of bending, lifting, and carrying items up to 50 pounds for tasks such as stocking and dough preparation.
  • Frequent face-to-face interactions with team members and customers in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain a positive demeanor in high-pressure situations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Shifts typically range from eight to ten hours, with variations possible.
  • Expect early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with additional responsibilities for opening and closing.
  • Demonstrate Jet's Pizza's core values in all team interactions.
  • Adhere to uniform and hygiene standards for each shift, contributing to a fun and energetic workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong understanding of culinary standards, food preparation, and recipe compliance.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of recruitment, selection, and training processes.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role or 1 year as a Restaurant Manager/Assistant Manager is essential.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Consent to background checks, including criminal, driving, and drug screenings.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of cost management principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
