Director of Physician Practice Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Physician Practice Operations to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategies related to physician practice operations.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies related to physician practice operations.
- Develop goals, plans, and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
- Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepare operational and departmental budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding.
- Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.
- Direct and evaluate practice activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Education: High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences: Strong business leadership background, ambulatory care or outpatient hospital leadership preferred, excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to drive positive change and initiatives.
