The Business Growth Analyst position is a proactive role tailored for an innovative individual eager to leverage analytical and interpersonal capabilities to enhance a multifaceted business environment. This position operates at the crossroads of sales, operations, and capital markets, providing essential insights that guide resource allocation and pipeline management. It is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics within a rapidly expanding business and witnessing the direct impact of their contributions on operational and financial results.

This role reports directly to the Head of Growth and necessitates a profound grasp of data, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to act swiftly and empathetically across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Enhancement: Develop expertise in analyzing and optimizing Vontive's loan pipeline to boost efficiency and conversion rates from initial leads to fully executed loans. Formulate and implement strategies and best practices to improve pipeline performance.
  • Regular Performance Reviews: Execute comprehensive evaluations of each Loan Officer's pipeline at the beginning and midpoint of each month to establish precise forecasts and pinpoint areas for enhancement. Assess the revenue implications and efforts required to finalize each loan.
  • Problem Resolution: Respond promptly and proactively to resolve loans encountering challenges such as incomplete offer acceptance, missing borrower details, appraisal delays, and insurance/title/valuation requirements. Collaborate with relevant teams to address issues and sustain progress.
  • Data Interpretation: Apply analytical expertise to assess pipeline data and devise plans for ongoing improvement. Create and execute actionable strategies to enhance loan conversion rates and overall pipeline efficiency (e.g., expanding the top of the funnel through email marketing, streamlining the appraisal process, etc.).
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner closely with colleagues across sales, underwriting, collateral, and engineering to tackle pipeline challenges and implement effective solutions. Exhibit empathy and a collaborative attitude in all interactions.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on critical performance metrics related to pipeline efficiency and loan conversion. Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to management based on performance analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with a commendable academic background.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a comparable role, such as Sales Pipeline Analyst, Financial Analyst, Growth Manager, or a related position within the financial services, lending, or technology sectors.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple streams of complex information daily.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to clearly convey insights and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Sense of Urgency and Empathy: Proven ability to operate with urgency while demonstrating empathy and support for colleagues across departments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software and business intelligence tools (e.g., Metabase). SQL knowledge is preferred.

Employee Benefits:

Our benefits are designed to support your overall well-being and include:

  • Competitive salary and compensation package
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Monthly fitness and wellness reimbursement
  • Healthy snacks, beverages, and meals available at the office
