Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Motorcycle Service Technician to join our team at Ferman Automotive Group. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and repair work on Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Responsibilities
  • Repair, customize, maintain, or overhaul Harley-Davidson motorcycles to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Assist the Service Advisor in initiating work orders, communicating with customers, and ensuring timely completion of repairs.
  • Notify the Service Advisor/Manager of any additional work required or delays in completion, and communicate with customers accordingly.
  • Ensure proper completion and filing of paperwork for each job.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and assist team members in maintaining shop cleanliness.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a motorcycle technician, with a strong background in Harley-Davidson repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a valid US government-issued driver's license and motorcycle endorsement.
  • Ability to lift and move 800lb motorcycles onto service lifts, with a safe driving record and eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must possess or obtain own set of tools, and pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
