Key Responsibilities:
Manage the entire parts sales process efficiently
Engage with customers and team members in a courteous and professional manner
Effectively communicate regarding the status of parts for customers
Utilize the parts catalog to accurately identify and discuss specific parts
Handle incoming calls, provide pricing information, and assist customers with inquiries
Review estimates from the body shop to ensure accurate parts ordering and pricing
Retrieve and fulfill orders from inventory while conducting regular stock checks
Alert the Parts Manager about any out-of-stock items or urgent shop materials
Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and place emergency orders as needed
Ensure all internal parts requests are billed appropriately on service repair orders
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in auto parts sales is preferred
Motivated to excel in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent interpersonal and time management abilities
Capability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documentation
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Compensation:
$17.55-$30.00/hour
*Compensation is based on relevant experience and skills. This position is eligible for commission based on individual sales performance.
