Job Summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, assist with merchandise selection, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Maintain a thorough knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, promote products to customers, and ensure accurate and efficient processing of sales transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and facing merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Operational Tasks: Perform various daily operational tasks, including preparing merchandise returns, assisting with stock adjustments, and operating store test equipment.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist with in-store services, such as brake lathe operation and vehicle inspections, and occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or automotive industry preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
  • Certifications and Training: ASE certification and completion of company training programs required.
