Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Firmware Test Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in triage, debug engineering, and testbed configuration. Key responsibilities include owning the testbed configuration, approving changes to the ConVal testbed configuration, and ensuring the testbed is successfully flashed with the new FW Drop.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Owns the testbed configuration and ensures it is up-to-date.
  2. Approves any changes to the ConVal testbed configuration.
  3. Ensures the testbed is successfully flashed with the new FW Drop.
  4. Reviews triage reports from execution and ensures accuracy.
  5. Identifies high-impact issues and focuses on reproduction if the ROI is deemed high enough.
  6. Aids in report generation for wider communication.
  7. Owns all ConVal program racks/system configuration.
  8. Drives 24-hour disposition of pre-sightings and drives deeper FA of failures from first-level triage reports.
  9. Helps drive NPFs to closure and raises the flag on unassigned NPFs.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in triage, debug engineering.
  • Strong understanding of testbed configuration and ConVal.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
