Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at ICONMA. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to multiple supervisors, performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to multiple supervisors, including fielding phone calls, receiving and directing visitors, and performing typing, filing, and faxing duties.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, presentations, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Conduct internet research and provide information to supervisors as needed.
  • Manage phone lines and place daily phone calls to outside facilities requesting patient pathology material.
  • Follow up on previously placed requests and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of business experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of third-party and government program billing requirements, patient billing procedures, and insurance benefits.
  • Good understanding of government program authorization and documentation.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
