Metropolis is a pioneering artificial intelligence company that is revolutionizing the way we interact with technology. As a Strategic Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in driving finance business partnership and strategy at the company.

This is a unique opportunity to join a team of world-class product leaders and engineers who are building an ecosystem of technologies at the intersection of parking, mobility, and real estate. You will partner with teams across the business to support strategic business and financial decisions, develop and own financial models and forecasts, and support growth initiatives by program-managing progress and developing key measurement and reporting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own models and analyses to balance growth vs. profitability
  • Work with cross-functional partners to develop new processes and policies
  • Design and refine detailed financial forecasting models
  • Develop reporting along with support infrastructure and measurement guidelines to communicate KPIs to senior management
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant finance experience preferred; SaaS and/or IoT experience strongly preferred
  • Experience partnering with Senior Leadership and ability to influence at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with experience developing and delivering presentations
  • Expertise in building Excel-based financial models, with an emphasis on aggregating and analyzing data to provide actionable insights
  • Manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision, working in team environments or independently
  • Experience with headcount reconciliation and month-end budget/forecast vs actuals reconciliation
  • Experience in both public and private company environments, preferably with high growth
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required
  • Experience with financial systems: ERPs (NetSuite, Great Plains), Planning Software (Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment), Payroll/HRIS (Dayforce, ADP), Expense Software (Navan, Expensify, Coupa), Salesforce
  • Ability to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong focus on organization and formatting

Metropolis offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $105,000.00 to $135,000.00, as well as access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more.
