Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Coordinator to join our team at Parsons State Hospital. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of person-centered services to individuals living in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a diverse group of staff across three shifts to ensure the protection of resident rights in a humane and home-like environment.
  • Coordinate and prioritize the delivery of training and person-centered services, integrating various aspects of care to meet individual requests, preferences, and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure the varied responsibilities of this position are met.
  • Collaborate with the Public Service Executive II to review and evaluate tasks against ICF/MR standards, agency policies, and consumer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in planning, organizing, and directing the work of a department, program, or agency.
  • Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
  • ICF/MR regulations mandate that the person in this position must possess a R.N. or a bachelor's degree in a human service field and at least one year of experience working directly with individuals with mental retardation or other developmental disabilities.

Positions in this class require that at the time of appointment, the selected candidate must take and pass a drug screening test approved by the Division of Personnel Services. Persons hired must also pass a law enforcement security clearance in compliance with policies of the Department of Aging and Disability Services.
