Position Overview

The Regional Operations Leader is responsible for managing daily operational activities, enhancing overall business performance, training department heads, overseeing budgets, crafting strategic initiatives, establishing policies, and conveying business objectives. This role requires collaboration with executive leadership, location managers, and staff to ensure seamless business operations and service delivery.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess experience in Management, Maintenance, Customer Service, and basic computer proficiency.

Local travel across various districts within the Arizona region.

Compensation

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operation and profitability of multiple car wash locations within the designated territory.
  • Guide the direction, coordination, and evaluation of direct reports while adhering to organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership to develop and implement company policies that direct and coordinate all location activities to achieve business and profitability goals.
  • Account for all business activities at each location, including supporting staff development, enhancing operational efficiency, driving sales, improving revenue, maintaining client and vendor relationships, and promoting the organization's image to meet growth objectives and sales forecasts.
  • Inspire and motivate managers to enhance the overall customer experience while holding each manager accountable for their location's operations.
  • Direct, supervise, train, and guide Location Managers in planning and executing procedures to maximize operational efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Maintain daily communication with every location manager through phone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all employees and customers by enforcing compliance with safety protocols and reporting any safety or maintenance issues to management.
  • Guarantee that each location is well-maintained and strictly adheres to all company safety standards.
  • Maintain quality control measures associated with customer experiences, products and services, scheduling, and labor cost management in relation to historical performance and seasonality.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, train, and develop employees to ensure clarity of expectations, standards of performance, and appropriate training to address any performance gaps.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels with employees, customers, peers, and management.
  • Encourage employees to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure excellent customer care.
  • Facilitate and assess damage claims.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Delegate authority to employees when appropriate.
  • Support company initiatives, including marketing, promotions, sales, customer service, and talent management efforts.
  • Be available to work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain a clean and organized property.
  • Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in car wash, retail, or service environments.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
