Job Summary:

The Unit Secretary NICU role at Saint Francis Hospital is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. As a Healthcare Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating patient flow on the unit and providing clerical support to the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient flow on the unit
  • Process patient orders
  • Prepare and disassemble patient charts
  • Prepare forms and documents required for patient care
  • Communicate unit-related and/or patient-related needs to other departments and healthcare team members
  • Request and obtain supplies and equipment
  • Answer phones and greet visitors
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • Certification as a Healthcare Unit Coordinator (HUC) preferred
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background checks
