Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with stroke and TIA
  • Collaborate with neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Manage medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results
  • Provide patient and family education and support

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program preferred
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant/APRN in Connecticut
  • Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse through AACN or ANCC
  • Board Certification as an acute care nurse practitioner preferred
