Job Summary:

As a Parts Advisor at DARCARS Automotive Group, you will play a crucial role in selling parts to customers, both in-store and online. Our team is committed to providing exceptional customer service and supporting each other's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggest complementary requirements, and offer special promotions.
  • Pull purchased parts from stock and ensure timely delivery.
  • Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and assist outside sales reps with their orders.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, and verify WILL CALL and BACKORDER files weekly.
  • Solicit assigned accounts by phone and assist Service Technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs.
  • Notify the service desk and customers when parts have been received, and ensure that technicians present a repair order before charging out parts.
  • Display seasonal parts and accessories in an attractive manner, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to other dealership departments.
  • Issue credit slips for returned parts, ensuring accurate verification of purchase and pricing.
Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills to explain parts information to customers and associates.
  • Knowledge of automotive OEM parts.
  • Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds preferred.
  • Ability to lift lbs.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays.
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must pass a pre-employment screen (background check).
