Mission of the Department: The Department of Campus Living-Residence Life is dedicated to offering services and programs for students residing in the university's housing facilities. Our mission emphasizes student development, academic assistance, counseling, discipline, and educational programming that cater to a diverse array of students from various backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
- The role will report to the Associate Director of Campus Living Conduct. The primary objective is to assist the Associate Director in the Campus Living Conduct Office. Responsibilities include supporting special projects for the Director of Residence Life and the other Associate Directors, addressing and resolving incoming inquiries, and directing requests when initial efforts do not yield results.
- Supervise and train student staff responsible for welcoming visitors, processing documentation, and drafting correspondence and reports. This position also entails overseeing data entry and maintaining an organized filing system.
- Act as a liaison for the Associate Director in communications with students, families, and other administrators. Utilize software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher to generate documents, spreadsheets, reports, and publications.
- Assist with various Campus Living activities, including housing returns and open houses, as directed.

Client/Customer Service (25%): Exemplify and foster effective customer service relations within the office and on behalf of the department. Train and mentor departmental staff on customer service best practices while addressing routine and complex inquiries.

Information Records Management (25%): Efficiently collect, input, organize, store, and retrieve information and records. Assist others in these processes and conduct research and analysis of institutional data.

Work Process Management (20%): Prioritize personal and team workloads. Actively engage in promoting student learning and leadership initiatives to meet program objectives. Contribute to the development of learning activities that align with departmental standards and processes.

Decision Making and Operations Coordination (20%): Coordinate assigned operations and processes to achieve desired outcomes, including scheduling for students and staff. Manage appointment scheduling for the Associate Director and oversee the scheduling for other staff members.

Supervision and Performance Management (10%): Oversee student staff, providing ongoing performance reviews and coaching to enhance operational efficiency and student development.

Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor or designated representative.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience from accredited institutions is required. No specific licenses or certifications are mandated by statute or regulation.
