About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Catastrophe - Outside Property Claim Representative to join our team at Travelers Indemnity Co. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for handling first-party property claims of moderate severity and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and evaluate claims to determine coverage, damages, and liability.
  • Conduct field inspections to assess damage and gather evidence.
  • Develop and implement effective claim resolution strategies.
  • Communicate with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one year of outside property claim handling experience or successful completion of Travelers' Outside Claim Representative training program.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with policyholders and stakeholders.
