Job Summary

Snelling - Birmingham is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to join their team. As an Accounting Associate, you will provide administrative support to the accounting team, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable Management
    • Follow up on outstanding invoices and maintain accurate customer records
    • Process payments, manage vendor relationships, and maintain accurate accounts payable records
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
    • Identify trends and areas for improvement in financial processes
  • General Ledger Maintenance
    • Reconcile and maintain accurate general ledger accounts
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
    • Assist with order fulfillment processes and record-keeping systems
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 3-5 years of experience in an accounting field
    • Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong organizational, prioritization, and writing skills
    • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
