Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering and maintaining data in our databases and ensuring accuracy and completeness. This role requires proficiency in data entry, a strong understanding of data management systems, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, and maintain data in computer systems and databases.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of data before entry.
  • Review and correct errors in data entry.
  • Organize and maintain files and records.
  • Generate reports and summaries from data as required.
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Perform regular data backups and ensure data security.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with data analysis and data-related projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in data management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and confidentiality practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Prolonged use of a computer and keyboard.
