About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Systems Intern to join our team at National Grid USA. As a key member of our Treasury Systems team, you will play a critical role in supporting the management and optimization of Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems, as well as the Quantum Treasury Management System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the modernization of critical legacy applications using C#
  • Contribute fresh ideas for optimization and support key projects to upgrade energy risk systems
  • Monitor and track issues, and work on custom applications to enhance their performance
  • Support a full system redesign to help the team discover and implement more efficient optimization strategies
Requirements
  • Availability to start on October 28, 2024
  • Registered in school as a full-time student and continuing education full-time until the Fall 2025 semester
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or related major
  • Accumulated 18 or more credits and be 18 years of age
  • Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States
  • Located within a commutable distance to the identified work location
  • Proficiency in Python, C#, SQL, Azure and Cloud Technology
