Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Integrated Mental Health Therapist II, III or Licensed to join our team. As a core member of the Clinical Care Team, you will work within a medical setting to provide diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, with coursework in psychological diagnostics. You will have experience working with adults, children, and families, and will be skilled in providing brief, strength-based, and solution-focused services. You will also be able to assist with emotional and behavioral stabilization, including suicide prevention, de-escalation of patients, and referral for crisis services when needed.

We are looking for a candidate who is bilingual in Spanish, Korean, Swahili, or Hindi, but this is not a requirement. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work effectively with diverse populations.

  • Provide brief, strength-based, and solution-focused services to adults, children, and families.
  • Work with patients to create self-management goals and increase their level of motivation to meet goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, with coursework in psychological diagnostics.
  • Experience working with adults, children, and families.
  • Ability to provide brief, strength-based, and solution-focused services.
