Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Technician to join our team at Brio Living Services. As a Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications accurately and timely, following physician orders and resident service plans.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Perform laundry, change bed linens, and maintain resident rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Provide dental and mouth care, as well as assist with meal service and transportation to appointments and activities.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, family members, and team members, fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
Requirements
  • 6 months of experience in a direct caregiver role, with or without medication administration, or equivalent education/background.
  • Experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings is preferred.
  • Completion of Medication Technician Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs, with assistance or equipment as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
