Job Summary

The Medication Technician position at Brio Living Services - Chelsea Retirement Community is responsible for accurately and timely administering medications and treatments to residents in the Towsley Village Memory Care unit.

Additionally, this role provides support to residents with daily care needs, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals in accordance with each resident's service plan, as directed by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments to residents in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide support with daily care needs, including grooming, hygiene, and housekeeping
  • Assist with social interactions and promote an emotionally healthy environment
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation

Requirements

  • 6 months of experience in a direct caregiver role or equivalent education/background
  • Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Completion of Medication Technician Certification preferred
