Central Plant Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Central Plant Mechanic to join our team at Community Health Systems. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the Central Utility Plant and other infrastructure equipment on campus.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair boilers, chillers, and other equipment in the Central Utility Plant
- Work with the team to maintain larger equipment and Building Automation Systems (BAS) on campus
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks on campus
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and mechanical devices
- Conduct water treatment, backflow testing, medical gas testing, and fire sprinkler testing
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
