Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Central Plant Mechanic to join our team at Northwest Medical Center. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's plumbing and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, install, repair, and replace pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas, and drainage systems of hospital facilities.
  • Work with the Director of Plant Operations, Facility Manager, and the Maintenance Team to maintain the Central Utility Plant (boilers and chillers) and other infrastructure equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain larger equipment and Building Automation Systems (BAS) on campus.
  • Perform general maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks on campus, including medical gas systems.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Four (4) years of experience in plumbing.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes and regulations for healthcare.
  • Ability to read blueprints and diagrams, and work with mechanical devices.
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License.
