Job Title: Material Control Specialist Senior

Job Summary:

V2X is seeking a highly skilled Material Control Specialist Senior to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of orders, managing inventory, and coordinating with vendors to resolve discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Management: Monitor and maintain purchasing orders, track orders, and investigate problems and discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management: Prepare, design, reconcile, and maintain discrepancy, receiving, shipping, and related reports.
  • Customer Service: Coordinate accurate and timely processing of orders for customers in the program.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that items received accurately reflect the corresponding purchase order (PO) lines.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with Buyers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Inventory Tracking: Records receipt of purchases in Maximo using inventory data and delivery notes from freight forwarder.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee and/or perform receipt, inspection, unpacking, and delivery of ordered goods.
  • Financial Management: Processes invoices for payment of received goods.
  • Return Management: Processes and document returns' as required following established procedures.
  • Logistics: Deliver parts to the aerial port as necessary or directed.
  • Clerical Duties: Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
  • Leadership: May lead, guide, and train employees, as appropriate to the area of operation.
  • Communication: Communicate with the Program receiving team both verbally and through records and reports.
  • Administrative Tasks: Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor.
  • Vendor Management: May coordinate & approve vendor delivery schedule associated including pick-ups.
  • Logistics Policies: Support with maintenance of logistics policies & procedures.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage and monitor the performance of subcontractor, scheduling, and planning.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Must maintain a current, thorough and working knowledge of the Government Regulations to include FAR, and DFARS, the V2X Material Management Plan (MMP), Property Management Plan (PMP), the Material Managenent Accounting System (MMAS), and the Corporate Procurement Manual Parts 1 & 2.
  • Reporting: Accurately manages the receiving status in the Receiving Holding Storerooms in the various Program database and prepare period reports and communicate the status with the Programs
  • Inventory Management Software: Responsible for tracking materiel inbound and outbound, using Maximo, IFS, and Oracle freight software.
  • Procurement Documents: Routinely use procurement documents for Inventory, Receipts, Issues, and others as required by the Performance Work Statement.
  • Quality Assurance: Examine stock to verify quantity or conformance to specifications as listed on the Packing Slip vs the Purchase Order

Requirements:

  • Education: AA or equivalent. One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of direct experience in Government and commercial defense markets.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret clearance within 1 year if required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Regulatory Experience: Experience working in the DoD Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Supply Chain Experience: Experience with Supply Chain processes and related systems.
  • Material Management Experience: Program and/or functional experience managing material.
  • Vendor Management Experience: Experience with ITAR licenses, INCOTERMS, freight forwarders and couriers
  • Computer Skills: Comprehensive computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Additional Skills: Additional skills include the following: briefing skills, project management, organizational skills, and communication skills.
  • Software Familiarity: Maximo and IFS familiarity

    • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
    • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
    • USD: $60,000 to 95,000
