Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LVN

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in their homes, assisting them with transitioning from the hospital and providing the continuous care needed to remain at home with their loved ones.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely manner
  • Provide health education and training to patients and family members
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
