About the Job

Aveanna Private Duty Nurse (Days or Nights) - LVN/LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting them with transitioning home from the hospital and providing the continuous care needed to remain at home with their loved ones.

Responsibilities
  • Implementation of physicians prescribed plan of care
  • Patient assessments and coordination of care
  • Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Compliant, timely documentation of care provided in system of record
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
Requirements
  • Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
