About the Job

Aveanna Private Duty Nurse (Days or Nights) - LVN/LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of experience in pediatrics or home health care (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
