Inpatient Rehab Nursing Professional

Laredo Medical Center is currently hiring a Registered Nurse for our Inpatient Rehab Service Line. This role offers a challenging and rewarding experience for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role:
This position involves evaluating patients, developing individualized care plans, and implementing treatment strategies to promote optimal health outcomes. As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Rehab unit, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients and develop personalized care plans that address their unique needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to empower them to take an active role in their healthcare.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited RN program or equivalent experience.
- Current Texas State Board of Registered Nurse Examiners license.
- BLS certification (or obtained during orientation).
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification (or obtained within six months of employment).
- One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in acute care settings (preferred).
