Position Overview
Rather than a job, we're seeking an exceptional Clinical Nurse to lead our team at Laredo Medical Center. As a part of our Inpatient Rehab Service Line, this RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role
This is a Full-Time position in our AM shift with opportunities for professional growth and development. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team. As a valued member of our staff, you will contribute to creating a culture that prioritizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and excellence.

Earned Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 per year
In addition to your base salary, you may also be eligible for bonuses and other benefits based on performance and tenure.

JOB SUMMARY:
Evaluate patients' needs, develop effective care plans, and implement nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive patient care, including medication administration and procedural assistance. Provide education and support to patients and families to promote independence and self-care skills. Foster open communication and collaboration with colleagues to enhance patient care and satisfaction. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Texas State Board of Registered Nurse Examiners
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required in the specialty area within six months of employment. Training will be provided at no cost to the employee.
* One year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
* Letter of recommendation from a supervisor or mentor for applicants with less than one year of applicable experience
* Handle with Care training may be required depending on the specific unit requirements
