Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Team Lead to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of customer service representatives, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of customer service representatives, providing coaching, feedback, and guidance to ensure they meet their full potential.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily store operations, including cash management, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, and regulatory compliance.
  • Performance Management: Evaluate and document team member work performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to drive improvement.
  • Store Image: Ensure that the store is maintained to the highest standards, including visual merchandising, cleanliness, and overall appearance.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and control store expenses, including labor, inventory, and other costs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the store is in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months retail team member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office and operations-related applications.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours, and work in a fast-paced environment.
