Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our team of technicians and provide exceptional customer service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Customer Service: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded, and providing exceptional service to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, select, and train new technicians to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable team.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 4 years of auto service technical experience and 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
  • Skills: Problem-solving, customer complaints, inventory management, scheduling, equipment maintenance, leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Certifications: Valid automotive driver's license and completion of all required Firestone Complete Auto Care store education courses and modules.
