Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Community Manager, the Maintenance Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within the property. The role encompasses a variety of light cleaning tasks, including:

  • Cleaning common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and elevators.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors using appropriate tools.
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
  • Washing windows, walls, and doors as required.
  • Managing debris in the Spa area and organizing furniture.
  • Emptying trash receptacles in shared spaces.
  • Disinfecting equipment and supplies to ensure hygiene.
  • Cleaning and restocking restrooms.
  • Reporting maintenance needs or unusual occurrences in common areas.
  • Maintaining an organized cleaning supply inventory.
  • Completing daily reports and checklists.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; bilingual candidates are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Ability to safely use tools, materials, and chemicals.
  • Possession of general handyman tools and skills for repairs.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer competitive pay ranging from $20 to $23 per hour, commensurate with experience and education. Additional benefits include:
