Certified Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and productive Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc.
Job Summary:Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Director, the Medical Technologist will be responsible for providing efficient and accurate analysis of specimens processed in the clinical laboratory to provide quality patient care services.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory tests and correctly log the results of those tests using established lab protocol.
- Determine specimen validity in a timely manner and inform clients of recollection protocols if a specimen is rejected.
- Identify, diagnose and repair issues that may arise with the laboratory equipment.
- Verify all test results and ensure that they are correctly matched with the specimen.
- Label and organize all tests appropriately to make sure that they are easily retrievable.
- Medical Technologist - MLT / MT Degree from an Accredited University.
- ASCP Certification required.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and quality control methods.
- Hospital or Clinical experience.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and computer technology.
