Account Executive Job Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced sales professional to expand our client base in the San Diego market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Utilize industry contacts and networks to identify and acquire new clients in the San Diego market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships in the commercial and multifamily arena.
  • Sales Strategy and Pipeline Management:
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
  • Manage sales pipeline and consistently follow up on leads to drive conversions and meet sales goals.
  • Product Knowledge and Consultative Selling:
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our stone countertop products, including materials, finishes, and customization options.
  • Provide consultative guidance to clients, offering solutions tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
  • Quoting and Proposal Development:
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes and proposals for clients, ensuring alignment with their requirements and budget constraints.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to secure profitable contracts while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities in the San Diego market.
  • Analyze competitor pricing, product offerings, and marketing strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and market positioning.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar role in the stone countertop industry.
  • Existing book of business and strong relationships within the San Diego market.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to sales.
  • Knowledge of stone countertop materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
