Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Life Science Outsourcing, Inc. in Brea, California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting Incoming Medical Devices: Perform thorough visual inspections and dimensional measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Verifying Product Compliance: Verify that all incoming medical devices meet the necessary quality standards and comply with all applicable regulations.
  • Identifying and Documenting Non-Conformance: Identify and document any non-conformance found during inspection, and participate in investigations related to non-conformance or product quality issues.
  • Developing and Implementing Inspection Procedures: Assist with the development and implementation of inspection procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspection results, and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a quality control related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of medical devices regulations and standards is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to use measuring tools and equipment, detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Word, and Excel.
Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to bend, stoop, and lift objects. Walking extended distances as needed.
